I came all the way from California… I didn’t run to NY, but I could have because I am an athletic gal! Zeus is a 1 year old Staffy mix that weighs 72lbs. He was a stray in Rensselaer County NY that was due to be euthanized. He is a sweetie and a big goofball! He is very active and loves to play fetch with his frisbees. He is a pro at sitting for his treats and scrunches. He is a big boy, very handsome, strong, and runs like a gazelle. He would be a great fit for someone with an active lifestyle.

I’m Marvin! I am a 4-year old Pointer / Staffy mix weighing about 60 pounds. I am a regal boy with an old soul and my blue eyes will surely melt your heart. I am intelligent, athletic, and love to play catch in the yard. I am very excited to see you EVERY time I see you, but will soon calm and be your trusty companion. Moby is a 50-pound English Pointer / Staffy mix who is about 1.5 years old. He is all love all the time. He enjoys running and playing, is great with other dogs, and cherishes his scrunches and hugs. He is very well mannered and great on leash. He was rescued from Sullivan County NY where he was living in a car with his dad and sister, Marvin and Mocha. He has been in terrific hands with us and is ready for his forever family.

Mocha is a 45-pound English Pointer / Staffy mix who is about 1.5 years old. She enjoys running and playing with other dogs, and she is quick to remind them that she is the boss. She is a bit slow to warm up to new people, but once she does she will adore you endlessly. She was rescued from Sullivan County NY where she was living in a car with her dad and brother, Marvin and Moby. She has been in terrific hands with us and is ready for her forever family.

Malaysia is a 54-pound Staffy mix that is around 3 years old. This girl is energy filled but also loves affection and cuddle time. She will be love at first sight for you with her adoring eyes and unique and charming spots. She is very close with her best friend, Raylee, as they came together from Alabama. They love to play and roll around in the yard.

Raylee that is a 72-pound Staffy mix that is around 3 years old. She is very curious and independent. She loves to get pets and cuddle’s but also likes to do her own thing. She’s a perfect mix of couch potato and hiking buddy. She is very close with her best friend, Malaysia, as they came together from Alabama. They love to play and roll around in the yard.

Logan is a Cattle Collie mix, is about year old and weighs about 39 pounds. He has a gentile demeanor, is very observant, and is such a smart boy. He is a little shy with new people, but will soon become extremely loyal. Logan came to us very frightened and untrusting of people. He does great with other dogs. He was recently living in a home, so he is very well-mannered and understands home life. He is such a sweet and smart boy that needs the right forever home.

Sammy is a 1 year old 55lb Lab mix. He is very affectionate and just loves attention and scrunches. He is also a big goofball as he bounds around the yard and plays with other dogs. He loves to be outside or cuddled up indoors. He is very well mannered (after the initial excitement of meeting a new person). He would make a great hiking buddy and a faithful family companion. He is ready to be your best mate!

Scooter is a 50-pound Shepherd Mix that is about a year old. He is a very athletic boy who loves to zoom and play with the other dogs. He is INCREDIBLY smart and listens to and responds to commands. When you first meet Scooter, he will love-bomb you and give you all the attention and kisses, but as soon as introductions are over, he settles in and is the biggest snuggler. He is great on leash, great with dogs and children, and house trained. His only fault is he is NOT good with cats. A perfect guy who is eager to join a loving family!

Scotty is a 10 month old 42-pound Staffy mix. This handsome little guy loves to snuggle up and loves to just run and play! He loves to make his rounds to all the staff to get his back rubs and kisses in! He is an absolute mush puppy.

Lazlo is a 5 year old Chihuahua mix that weighs about 16 pounds. He has been with us now for a little over a year. He is a very sweet but super shy boy. He’s still working on coming out of his shell and takes time to warm up to people. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and a more quiet surrounding area. He loves to be out and running with the other dogs here at the rescue. He needs lots of patience and love.

Tico is a 1 year old Blackmouth Cur mix that weighs around 51 pounds. He has been with  us for about 9 months and is such a sweet and loving boy. He gets along well with other dogs but likes a slow introduction. He is cautious with new people but is very gentile. He loves to play fetch, go on walks, and explore new things. Once he warms up he will shower you with kisses, cuddle up, and be your new best pal.

Zara is a 68-pound Cane Corso mix that is around 4 years old. She has been at the rescue with us for a year now. She is very shy and gets scared very easily. She is a gentle and loving soul who needs lots of love, patience, and time. Once she is comfortable with you she turns into a huge love bug. She has improved so much since she has come to us and continues to come out of her shell more and more. She loves her outside yard time, and when she’s ready to come in she knows right where to go. Zara also loves to just be a big couch potato, add in some cuddle/lap time and she couldn’t be happier!

Mallory is roughly a year old, Boxer/Staffy mix and weighs 38lbs. Mallory was found abandoned in a field with her five puppies. When Mallory came to us, she was extremely frightened of everything. She is an absolute sweetheart and is finally opened up to all the staff. She is very playful with other dogs and is a huge snuggle bug. She is still very shy with new people but with a little bit of time and patience she will leap into your arms and become your new best friend.

Pepper is a Boxer/Staffy mix pup that's about 5-month old. He is a real looker and a cutie pie! He is a little ball of energy with a big personality. He is very curious, loves to be out playing with all the other pups, and loves to jump in laps for playful scrunch time. His mama is Mallory.

Bean is a 23 pound, 5-month Golden Retriever/Staffy mix. He’s sweet, spunky, and always ready to play. He and his brother, Cody, are strong athletic fellas. He loves to socialize with people as well as playing with all the other pups!

Cody is a 25 pound, 5-month Golden Retriever/Staffy mix. He takes great pride in getting all the attention he can get! He and his brother, Bean, are strong athletic fellas. He’s a big goofball that is always bouncing around and chasing other pups to play

Simone is a female Staffy/Boxer/Rotti Mix and is about 5-month of age. Simone is a darling! She is happy being a lone wolf doing her own exploring and she loves playing with all her puppy pals. She is great with our adult dogs too. She is as sweet as the day is long, loves playing with toys and getting cozy with people. Her beautiful face and old-soul eyes with just melt your heart.

Leah is a female 4-month Lab/Staffy Mix. She is an independent young lady who loves letting everyone know that she is in charge. She loves to roll in the grass and curl up on her bed for a nap.

Talia is a female 4-month old Boxer mix. She is a spunky love bug. She loves to play with her pack mates and very content getting scrunches.

Lexi is a female 4-month old Boxer mix. She is playful and loving. She is happy to curl up on your lap and gaze into your eyes. She has a sweet face and a very charming underbite.

Kay is a 42-pound Lab/Staffy mix that is about 2 years old. This little girl is super shy, but oh, so, sweet! Kay was saved from the streets of Alabama with a severely embedded collar from neglect. Their community came together to catch and save her life. She is slowly opening up and finding her place with us. She loves being with other dogs. Patience, tenderness, care, and love is what will win her heart over!
